This unique blend of art, design, spectacle, entertainment, and architecture will once again bring the locations of Zagreb’s Lower Town and Upper Town to life.

The Festival of Lights Zagreb is not only about magical light installations, impressive projections, playful animations, and colourful objects—it is also about good emotions, positive energy, and the joyful celebration of spring. Over five festival days, we invite local and international artists to transform the city’s streets, parks, squares, promenades, and buildings into vibrant canvases and imaginative stages for innovative forms of contemporary art.

With the start of the Festival of Lights Zagreb, we invite everyone to visit our city and experience the arrival of spring in a truly spectacular way. This year’s programme combines the best of visual and performing arts with modern technology, creating an unforgettable atmosphere across the city.
